Please note the change in location for the exhibition component. Due to unforeseen circumstances it now takes place at James Lane, 65 James St, New Farm.
Featuring works by Numskull (A/D Gold Coast Feature Artist), Edward Woodley, Marty Routledge & Joel Birch
A new generation keeping the age-old trade of hand-painted sign writing alive and kicking.
Once a day to day practice, hand styled signage was a permanent fixture in our lives for centuries. In recent times its been all but lost, commonly replaced by the more cost effective digital form.
This project aims to draw light on the old. Through an exhibition of hand painted work, taking place in an old takeaway shop, and a large scale wall mural.
